Mini Lotus Guanyin Statue

Description

There is a softness to this miniature Guanyin: the broad, rounded face, the closed eyes and the small hand holding a vase. A curled crown rises above the forehead, while the robes settle into a layered lotus seat. Its compact proportions give a familiar devotional subject a playful, contemporary character.

The gray surface has a fine-grained appearance. At 11 cm (4.3 in) tall, with a footprint of approximately 5 × 5 cm (2.0 × 2.0 in), the figure leaves room for everyday things around it. The optional brown wood stand adds a warm contrast beneath the gray lotus pedestal.

Zuolian Guanyin and the little vase

Zuolian (坐莲) means “seated on a lotus,” the flower built into this mini Kuan Yin. A small vase preserves a familiar Guanyin attribute, while rounded cheeks and closed eyes give the subject a playful contemporary treatment. The optional wood stand adds another level beneath the integral lotus.

Statue or statue with stand

Both options contain the same gray statue with its integral lotus pedestal. Statue Only includes one statue. Statue with Wood Stand includes that statue plus the separate rectangular stand shown in the option photograph.

The supplier lists the statue material as Qingsha stone (青砂石) and the optional stand as solid wood. Display furniture, background vases and other scene props are not included. Place the figure on a level indoor surface and lift it by the base. A soft, dry brush is suitable for gently removing dust from the crown and lotus petals.
