Songzi Guanyin brings a child into the central subject, connecting the image with family hopes and care. A Quan Yin chosen for this theme may hold personal meaning as a devotional object or a gift expressing affection and good wishes.
Look at the relationship between Guanyin and the child rather than choosing by the presence of a child alone. Guanyin with child attendants is a different group arrangement. When selecting a Songzi Guan Yin, the expression, composition and size can each matter; the material and details of the individual Kuan Yin should guide the final choice.
