Lihe Guanyin Statue Standing on a Lotus

Description

From the small seated figure in the crown to the broad leaf beneath the lotus, the sculpture follows a continuous vertical line. One hand is lifted beside the chest; the other holds the vase forward. Pink tips add color to the lotus petals in both finishes.

An Upright Lotus Composition

Lihe (立荷) names this standing lotus design. Its long robes, forward-held vase and pink-tipped flower form an upright composition. The choice of white or blue changes the palette around the same slender silhouette of Lihe Kuan Yin.

White & Gold or Blue Robes

White & Gold Accents follows the edges of the white robes with fine gold-tone lines, leaving most of the folds undecorated. Blue Robes adds a pink inner garment, painted chest and vase details, and a deeper blue-green base. Both versions are decorated ceramic with a glossy surface. The photographs show each individual size and finish; small sculptural details differ between models.

Planning the Space

The white-and-gold figures stand approximately 39, 46.5 or 55 cm (15.4, 18.3 or 21.7 in) high. The blue-robed figures are approximately 39.5, 47 or 54.5 cm (15.6, 18.5 or 21.5 in) high. Check the full dimensions of your selected model, and leave clear space around the crown and raised hand. Measurements include the sculpted lotus base.
