Jixiang Guanyin Statue on a Lotus and Wave Base

The pale yellow vase and green leafy stem stand out against this Jixiang Guanyin statue’s robes. Pink-tipped lotus petals sit above a curling wave base, with more pink around the crown. The white-robed finish is edged in gold tones; the pink-and-red version adds a green-and-blue base.

Description

Lotus Petals Above Moving Water

The broad lotus seat rests on a base modeled with curling waves, small buds and fine gold-tone accents. Above it, Guanyin sits cross-legged, with painted eyes and a small smile. The curved green stem and pale yellow vase are distinct from the robes, so the two held objects remain easy to see even in the white version.

What Jixiang Means

Jixiang (吉祥) means auspicious and is the supplier’s name for this design. Its sense of wishing someone well accompanies a smiling figure with a green stem and pale yellow vase. Those two colors stay distinct against the robes of Jixiang Kuan Yin in both painted finishes.

Two Painted Finishes

White Robes & Gold Accents combines white robes and a white wave base with pink-tipped lotus petals, green details and gold-tone lines. Pink & Red Robes combines pale pink outer robes, a red chest panel and a green-and-blue wave base. Both are ceramic with painted decoration. The gold-tone details describe the finish, not the metal content. Face, crown and folds vary slightly between sizes, and each photographed option is shown separately.

Choose the Scale for Your Space

The 30 cm (11.8 in) model has a base measuring about 19 × 15 cm (7.5 × 5.9 in). At 35 cm (13.8 in), the footprint increases to 22 × 18 cm (8.7 × 7.1 in). The largest pink-and-red version stands 41.5 cm (16.3 in), with a 25.5 × 20.5 cm (10.0 × 8.1 in) footprint. Check both the available surface and the space above the crown before choosing.
