Hejia Ping An Guanyin Statue with Willow and Vase

Hejia Ping An means “peace for the whole family,” a wish carried in the raised Chinese characters on the base. Above them, Guanyin holds a willow branch and a slender vase, seated on overlapping lotus petals. Glossy white porcelain brings out the relief work; the Pink & Green finish adds a blush robe, green leaves and a rose-pink lotus.

Description

The inscription gives this Guanyin her name: 合家平安, Hejia Ping An, a wish for peace for the whole family. It is worked into the pedestal beneath the lotus, surrounded by raised flowers and curling stems. For a family shrine or a meaningful gift, that small detail makes the choice personal.

The Willow and the Water Vase

The willow branch and narrow water vase are familiar attributes of Guanyin, the bodhisattva of compassion. Their association with sprinkling purifying water complements the family wish written on this pedestal. The branch’s long leaves remain clearly visible beside the raised fingers.

White Porcelain or Pink & Green

Pink & Green combines a pale pink glaze with green willow leaves and floral stems, deeper pink blossoms and a rose-toned lotus. White keeps the figure, flowers and lotus in one glossy porcelain finish. The sculpted faces, crowns, folds and bases vary between sizes, so each available option is shown in its own photograph.

Size and Placement

Both finishes are offered at 28 cm (11.0 in), 35 cm (13.8 in) and 41 cm (16.1 in). The larger 46 cm (18.1 in) and 51 cm (20.1 in) figures are available in Pink & Green. Check the base measurements as well as the height when choosing a place for the statue.

Measurements include the base and are approximate. Each size has its own proportions.
