Zizai Songzi Guanyin Statue with Two Children

Description

Both children wear red bibs, bringing bright points of color to the white robes. Their small hands and turned faces make this a closely gathered group: the boys remain within Guanyin’s arms and lap. A raised hand, ornamented crown and folded legs complete the composition.

Songzi: Guanyin with Children

Songzi (送子) is the child-giving Guanyin subject, traditionally connected with hopes for children. Here, two boys share the embrace instead of a single infant: one is held close to the chest and the other sits in the lap. That closely gathered group gives this Songzi Quan Yin its family-centered character.

The Difference Is in the Base

Both finishes have white robes, painted faces, red-clothed children and pink-tipped lotus petals. White & Gold Accents keeps the lower waves white, with small gold-tone details and fine outlines. Blue Wave Base adds green leaves and deep blue waves beneath the lotus. Both versions are decorated ceramic with a glossy finish.

Size and Handling

Each version measures approximately 40 cm (15.7 in) high, 22 cm (8.7 in) long and 21.5 cm (8.5 in) wide. You will receive one statue in the selected finish, depicting Guanyin and both children above the lotus and wave base. Allow clear space around the crown and raised fingers on a level indoor shelf or altar.

Lift from beneath the base without pulling on the children, fingers or crown. Use a soft, dry brush for dusting.
