Quanlian Guanyin Statue with a Layered Lotus Base

Layered lotus petals form a broad seat beneath Quanlian Guanyin. One hand is raised beside the chest; the other supports a slender vase. The white model keeps the folds and petals in a single porcelain tone, while the yellow-robed figure adds floral painting, a turquoise vase and pink-tipped petals.

Description

A Guanyin on a Full Lotus Throne

The petals are a substantial part of this composition, rising in overlapping rows above a rounded lower pedestal. Robes spread across the lap, with long sleeves framing the vase. A small seated figure appears in the crown. The front photograph shows the balance of the whole design; the angled view and face detail belong to the white model.

Quanlian and the Compassion of Guanyin

Quanlian (全莲), “full lotus,” is the supplier’s name for the substantial flower-shaped throne. Its overlapping petals occupy a large part of the silhouette beneath the seated Quanlian Kwan Yin. The lowered gaze and slender vase provide smaller details above that broad foundation.

White Porcelain or Painted Yellow Robes

The white version is described by the supplier as Dehua white porcelain. Its undecorated robes leave the necklace, sleeve folds and petal contours easy to follow. The painted ceramic version has yellow robes with a large floral motif across the lap, a turquoise vase and crown detail, and pink-tipped lotus petals above a dark green base with gold-tone decoration. These finishes have their own photographs and measurements.

Allow Space for the Base

Both versions are approximately 27.5 cm (10.8 in) long and 27 cm (10.6 in) wide. The white figure is 41 cm (16.1 in) high; the yellow-robed figure is 43 cm (16.9 in) high. Check the depth of your shelf or altar as well as the height, and leave clearance around the crown and raised hand. The measurements below include the sculpted base.

Approximate Dimensions
Finish	Height	Length	Width
White	41 cm (16.1 in)	27.5 cm (10.8 in)	27 cm (10.6 in)
Yellow Robes	43 cm (16.9 in)	27.5 cm (10.8 in)	27 cm (10.6 in)

One Quanlian Guanyin statue is supplied in your selected finish. Support the base when moving it, and dust gently with a soft, dry brush. Avoid lifting or applying pressure at the crown, hands or vase.
