Description

A Lotus Above the Water

The base has three distinct layers: curling waves, broad green leaves and open lotus petals. Above them, the crossed legs and upright figure give the composition a steady center. The raised hand, slender fingers, visible bare foot and floral vase reward a closer look.

Shuilang Zuohe Guanyin

Shuilang Zuohe (水浪坐荷) describes Guanyin seated on a lotus above water and waves. Blue curls at the foot, green leaves and pink petals carry that name through three visible layers. The upright Shuilang Kuan Yin remains the steady center of the composition.

Two Palettes

White & Gold Accents pairs white robes and fine gold-tone edging with purple-pink petal tips. Blue Robes combines pale blue clothing, a white veil and coral-pink petal tips. Both finishes have a green-and-blue base. Crown details and proportions vary with the model; use the photograph for the selected finish and height.

Choosing a Place

The smallest models are 29.5 cm (11.6 in) tall and measure 19 × 16 cm (7.5 × 6.3 in) across the base. White & Gold Accents is also available at 39 cm (15.4 in), while the larger Blue Robes model is 34.5 cm (13.6 in). Allow room around the base and crown, especially on a narrow shelf.
